Owner, Ellen Scumaci, formally established Get Into the Right College in 2013.  As an educator, Ellen has taught English for the University of Maryland's Asian Division in Okinawa, Japan, the US Department of Defense Dependents Education Activity in Japan, and for civilian school districts stateside since 1993. Over the years, Ellen has helped hundreds of students through the college application process. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University, a Master of Science from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University.  

While based in Buffalo, NY, I provide services to students locally, nationally, and internationally through in-person sessions, Zoom, or Google Meet. If you live in the Buffalo, NY area, my services are provided in person, with online flexibility in the event of weather, transportation, or illness issues.
